Hi I decided to get a ipad air 2 over christmas because I am selling my macbook pro since it's starting to break down. I have 80gb of music on here and was wondering what the easiest way to transfer my library onto an external hard drive? if i sync my whole itunes to my ipad and then connect the ipad to another computer will it transfer my whole itunes onto the computer?

it's somewhat difficult to get music from an iPad/iPhone to another computer without the use of third party software.
The best way is to copy all of your stuff (Documents, Music, Pictures, etc.) to an external HD, and then to the replacement laptop.
You can store all of your music in iCloud, but that could become costly, and is slower than roadkill to download from.
