Selling MBA w/AC, but have question

I am planning on selling my MBA that has 2 years of AppleCare left on it. The problem is, when I bought the MBA I also bought a 27" ACD and the AppleCare covered both items.

What happens to the AC when I sell the MBA and keep the ACD? Will the new MBA owner be able to have AC coverage and I keep AC coverage on my ACD? The new owner won't be able to cancel the ACD coverage right?

apple care stays with the machine. I think you can cancel and get a refund before you sell though, but I'm not sure.

Well I'd like to sell the MBA with AC on it. But I want to keep the AC on my ACD.

oh right..not sure how it would work with ACD...only apple would know for sure

I'm pretty sure even though it also covers the display, it's basically treated as two separate warranties and as such will continue to exist for the display even if you no longer have the Air.
