Depends, is this the same machine u just got repaired? What repairs were done? Certain changes will shorten the life of a laptop even if apple themselves made thhe change.
heres the thing, he complained about it alot and i don't remember reading what happened. Also he owes the buyer to explain if it was repaired but i guess it was not.
I'd only get 1600-1700 for it??? wow, that is a lot less than I though...I know a guy that sold his 15" iMac for only 200 euro less than what he bought it for!! and it was 10 months old!
the laptop costs 2800 euro I think... are you sure??
I think that's 1600-1700 american dollars. I guess going through the converter, that's only 1500 euro's so maybe he's wrong. What I do know is this, Apple resale has gone down a LITTLE over the past few years, mainly because they have so many new machines.
It would help if you put a location in your profile.
Stateside, a new one with warranty is $2200 retail if you buy the Apple memory, less if you mail-order it with so-called "free" memory upgrade. That's why I'd expect a used one to go for maybe $1700.
Apple pays attention to when a computer was sold, not who it was sold to. This information is stored in a database that includes the computer's serial number. I know of at least two people that had warranty work done on a Mac that they bought from someone else.
