Ok I know this is asked a lot but the guy will be here in 10 minutes and so I don't have time to look. If I could just get a quick answer, you can let the thread die.

My 3GS is on 3.1.3 and I just backed up. That's all I need to do, right? When I get my iPhone 4, I can restore from my backup and I'll get my notes, photos, saved games ets all back as they were correct?

Correct, i would restore to factory settings before you sell to ensure preservation of your privacy. Good luck with ur sale

As far as getting your content on your new phone. Yes, backing up your old phone is enough.

As far as selling your old. I'd restore it new. Take my sim out and do the erase all settings under the reset option.

take it out and restore or if you are going to pick ur iphone 4 form a apple retail shop they will convert it over for you while you wait
