Selling My Mac- How Should I go about erasing HD?

Put in the Mac OS X install disk and start up to the install screen and use Disk Utility in the menu bar and choose erase first. Then you can go advanced while in Disk Utility choose a 1 pass, 7 pass and so on. The pass allows zeros to be written on the hard disk.
