First time selling my Mac. Can I keep Lion installed on it? Anything else I should do?

The license states that you can transfer OSX to a new owner, but the fly in the ointment is that a normal install of Lion ties it to your apple-id, you used to purchase it.

I think from what I've read is that you'll need to do a clean install from a thumb drive so there's no connection to your apple-id/Mac App store account

Can transfer the OSX that came with the machine. If you downloaded Lion from the App Store then it says that you need to wipe it out and go back to the original before selling.
