I'm going to use my upgrade to get an iPhone 4S and I want to just sell it and remain using my iPhone 4, and use the money for an iPad 3, I live in the UK.

I want to know where the best place to sell it is.

Obviously there's eBay, and the UK's own Craigslist - Gumtree, but is there anywhere else that won't take such a big cut of the sale or isn't as dodgy? Thanks

Good plan. Craigslist isn't dodgy though. I've made tons of sales on that. I deal locally and get my money instantly. It's very good.

Ebay I don't trust though. I don't trust it.

In the UK, I've used Envirophone.com, but try Mazuma Mobile too.

But I've used o2recycle.co.uk as well, they transfer it straight to your bank if you accept the offer. - No waiting for a cheque, and then waiting for that too cash in.

Mazuma Mobile, Envirophone, o2recycle. :)

Yeah so without trying to offend anyone, I live in Glasgow, and Gumtree is notorious for scam artists around here.

Thanks for that, I know about these services but again they'll take too big a cut. O2 offer something like £330. Now I'm aware I'm not going to get the full £499 even if it is brand new, but I want to get as close to it as possible.
