I plan on putting my 2nd generation 8gb up for auction on eBay tomorrow. I'm hoping to get around $100. I've been watching the sales for quite a while and that seems to be what they go for. This will be my first eBay auction so it would be great if you guys could give me some tips and tricks for getting started selling and maximizing my profit. Thanks!

If it has very light/no scratches and is in totally pristine condition. Box and manuals still intact I'd say go for $125. If it has scratches and has no box $100 is fine.

Alright thanks. It doesn't really have any "scratches", just some scuffs on the back from normal use. The front is mint though. I'd be happy getting $100, anymore than that will just be a bonus and make me even happier. :)
