Hi guys

I have a copy of Final Cut Studio 2 and I never use it so I want to sell it on.

I did register it when I bought it so is this going to affect the resale? I don't want to sell it if the new owner cant treat it as theirs.

Thanks

All you have to do is give the buyer all your media (discs) and destroy hatever copies you have. Even if you have used it it is sellable. Just like a used book.

Although it is true that you have the "right of first sale" to resell something, and you shouldn't have a problem, just don't ask Apple about it. Most software companies claim that that right doesn't apply to software.

I have sold old copies of software and the new users have never had problems. Just make sure they don't make a big deal about buying it second hand if they call support.
