I am currently on ATT, pre-ordered IP5 on both VZW and ATT (both out for delivery today:D) My plan was to use VZW for a few days after I activate it, then port my # and ditch ATT if everything is good on VZW. (If I don't like VZW, I'd open up the ATT phone.)

I'm planning on keeping my ATT IP5 sealed in the box, and either returning it or selling it. Is there any risk for me selling the unactivated phone with a sim card inside? I think the answer is no, but I've always taken out sim cards when selling my old phones.

TIA

U have to make sure att didnt physically activate the phone.

Today- verizon entered my info into the system and my ip 4 phone was automatically de activated. and my 5 was activated once I turned it on
