I'm getting a Razer Core X for a very fair price, so I'm thinking of hooking it up via Bootcamp and maybe do some semi-light gaming.

I ordered a RTX 2060 Super (only gonna game in Windows) and a gaming keyboard.

Will this get me decent gaming performance? I have a 2019 MBP13 @ 2,4Ghz and 16gb RAM.

Anyone have experience on this? Can I expect at least decent gamin performance? I'm not really looking at AAA-titles here you know.

You will be lucky if you are able to get your eGPU working in Bootcamp at all. More than likely you will run into the dreaded and infamous Error 12 and Windows will not recognize your GPU at all. I went through this with my Mac last month. Eventually, I had to give up and return it.

To give you an idea of the task ahead of you, here is a guide that attempts to solve the issue. Not exactly light reading.

But....you may be one of the lucky ones. In which case, you should be able to game a high level with your 2060 Super, in theory. I wish you the best of luck.
