okay i have some issues and its making me kind of upset. i went to apples forum and the moderator was very rude because my phone is unlocked and ended up deleting my post. okay here is my situation, i just bought last night an iphone 2g, i think, its got the silver back. and its running 2.2.1
anyway everything on the phone works fine and the lady claims she never dropped it. but when i try to send a text message the send button doesnt respond after i input the text. also if i go to safari and input a website the done button doesnt work. but in all other applications and programs that area of the screen works fine like in calender and settings stuff like that. i hope that there isnt something wrong that i cant fix and if so i hope i can get my money back the lady that i bought the iphone from is out of town till later tonight.
and one more thing, the phone is unlocked and jailbroken and ive read that if you tried to update the phone it can brick it. i dont want that to happen so i was wondering if id be better off completley restoring the phone and getting unlocked by like mobile solutions. i called tmobile and they said that 3rd party companies can 'flash' it for like 20 bucks. and would that possibly help the send keys? maybe it was some sort of glitch when they updated idk.
