Send iPhone to different address other than the one listed on account (AT&T)

I'm preordering tonight, and I am on my parent's plan (they pay for my phone while i'm in college). I have the info to pre-order from my parent's account, however, when I pre-order through Apple, will I be able to change the address to ship the iPhone to where I live? I read that it is set to the default address listed on the account, and you're unable to change it. I don't want it shipped to my parents house, so I want to change it to my address. They have AT&T. Thanks guys.

In the same boat here (college student) EDIT: Just have your parents one day ship it... we'll have to wait a couple days but that's not that big of a deal
 
Not sure. That scenario did not come into play with me. Try without her on the phone and call back with her if you need to. They'll ask for your order # and validate payment info.
 
When I ran in to this problem in college I was just able to change the billing address the night before, and change it back after the phone shipped. I think one bill ended up coming to me because the billing cycle ended in the middle, but my parents checked paperless anyways.
 
Call them later and switch the shipping address.

Or pick up at your local Apple store.
 
I am unable to change my shipping address online...Ill try calling later to try to change over the phone
 
I'm about to try calling and will let you all know how it goes. It's ridiculous that AT&T does this when I'm paying for the phone through Apple! In the past I could change it online after the order, but that's not working this year. Really hoping the Apple rep can assist.

Will there be a problem if the credit card address is different from the ATT billing address? I placed my order and my parents address was still on file for ATT. There was no way to change it so Im just having it shipped there.
