Send Links in Mail to Local Files and Folders

So here is the deal. I have my mp3 drive hooked up to my Airport Extreme, and the drive is shared among computers.

I want to send an e-mail link to my sister so that when she clicks it, the Finder will open the specified folder. Is there a way to do this?

I have tried to Edit the hyperlink and do a drag of the folder in the Link properties. The hyperlink is created, but when clicked, does nothing.
