I was looking forward to this feature, but it doesnt seem to be available to me.

MacPro Early 2008
iPhone 5
Both on wifi, also tried with direct connection

Open Maps
Create a route
Click the share option

All I see are Email, Messages, Twitter, FB and Add Bookmark.

Shouldn't I see both my iPad3 and my iPhone as options?

What machine version is your mac that is running Mavericks? Could this be an "older machine" feature we dont get?

Nothing here as well. Only thing I can find is you have to be signed into iCloud on the devices in question then it says you should click share and the device will show, that I have done and all i get is options such as i message etc but no iphone or ipad. I am either missing something or there is a bug

I activated keychain on iCloud in system settings and then restarted and it worked

Hi,

Mine worked but I initially could not find which iPhone (I have several - old and new) the maps directions was sent to.

As indicated in this thread, the iCloud account was the destination - thanks.

What was a put down however was that the directions involved usage of the MAPS APP in ios7. This means that when I travel abroad I still have the data roaming costs. So this feature is equivalent of having 2 address book entries and getting the ios7 maps app to do the directions.
