Send SMS messages and receive them on your Mac?

My previous phones had this capability with the Mac. Is there any software out there that would allow me to send and receive SMS messages from the iPhone using my Mac? When I am sitting at my computer, It would be nice to just speedy type out SMS messages using your Mac's keyboard.

Also, if it is possible, any chance of on-screen caller ID?

Nope Apple restricts the iPhone bluetooth heavily.

You'll get the replied back via email, too.
Not sure if the other carriers (Verizon, etc) have this, too.
