Send SMS to phone from Mac

I need something i can send a sms from my computer to my cell phone

i have rogers if that makes a difference

If you have ever sent anything from your phone to your email, use the phone email. Here in the US(I don't know if you're in the US), but in the US, its usually your phonenumber@something.com (Obviously, you put YOUR phone number in the phonenumber section and whatever it says at the end when you send something to your email at the something.com section. I don't know if this helps, but I'm trying.

So use your e-mail, if you know how to.

Found it! for Rogers, you use this:

10digitphonenumber@pcs.rogers.com

So you're basically e-mailing your phone for the cost of a picture message.

Here's a Dashboard widget that will do it. Looks like you have to pay for this one, but I think I remember seeing a free one in this list somewhere as well.

Why? You're not using e-mail or anything. Just make an e-mail with what you want to send to your phone, to the address above and send it.

I don't know since it is because you live in Canada that they charge and if so, sorry I couldn't help.
