Sending iBook in for repair question

Well it looks like my combo drive is shot.
It doesn't accept discs anyone, just keeps ejecting them.
My iBook BTO is still under warranty.

Is it better to take it in to a Apple store or
should I just call up Apple and ship it back?
If I take it to the store what do I need to bring?

I would just send it in, they will send you a box with instructions. If you take it to the store, all you need is the iBook itself, nothing else, if you send in anything else, you will lose them and will not get them back.
