Sending Pages Attachments to Non Pages Users

Hi everyone,

I have been encountering a problem with Pages. I have been trying to send my resume (created on pages) to windows users and it comes to them in a zip file that they seemingly cannot open. I was wondering if there is something I can do to prevent this and allow them to open it seamlessly on their windows office running machines.
