I'm experiencing and odd little Camera/Preview/Mail quark.
I've taken a few photographs in portrait style rather than in landscape. My camera automatically rotates the files before it saves them to the card. When I used to import all my pictures onto my Toshiba, they'd transfer all rotated so I could transfer and email them straight away. The iMac and mini are proving to be more of a pain. When I open the camera up in image capture, the image's preview icons are not rotated. I guess that makes sense, astetically speaking, I don't mind that. When you open up the pictures in preview, they are rotated properly. When I go to email the photographs (in Mail) they go through unrotated. This is most bothersome. Rotating in iPhoto is also a bust. I certainly hope I don't have to teach the family how to open up Photoshop; just to rotate a photo to be sent via Mail.
