Sendstation Compability with In-Line Mic

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the sendstation dock allows you to plug in in-lin mic's? My headphone port broke so this has been a godsend, but I want to be able to take calls without unplugging the whole unit everytime.

Also, anyone know any mic's with any built in amplifier so i can change the volume, or if i have a mic with volume control can it just "override" the iphone.

I am not an audiophile so bear with me!

So would that change the volume.
