Hi

Does anybody know if the Sennheiser CX 300 In-ear Headphones are compatible with the iPhone, without using the adapter?

According to the Apple Store it says:

"Sennheiser CX300 Ear-Canal Headphones for iPhone and iPod"

At this link:

http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APP.../wa/RSLID?find=cx300&rs=newest&revw=TQ085LL/A

But the iPhone is not listed as part of the compatible items..

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Hi

Does anybody know if the Sennheiser CX 300 In-ear Headphones are compatible with the iPhone, without using the adapter?

According to the Apple Store it says:

They fit just fine in my iPhone. The rubber on the plug is soft enough to just bunch up when you put it into the jack. Hasn't slipped out or anything.

Oh, really?

Well that's great. Does your's also have the L-jack stick or a straight jack-stick?

Where have your bought yours? I have only seen the CX300 with an L-jack :) Are you sure you don't have the CX400 model?

Yep. Bought them at Circuit City. Doing a search on google for CX300's seems to indicate that there are more than one model with the same name. Very confusing.

Mine have got the L jack. Bought from Play.com.
Apparently there are some moody ones out there - with straight jacks

Are the cx300 compatible with iPhone without adaptor

They are compatible they have a smaller than normal L shaped headphone jack that plugs straight into the iPhone.
