do you rly want to know?
i was hoping to get a pair of senn. cx300b headphones for my ipod touch in december. i will be buying from apple online store as i have heard of fakes being sold on amazon.com. guess i will have to pay 60 bucks instead of 30 cuz i don't want to risk getting fakes. anyways, for those of u that have it, can u measure the length of the cable from both headphones down to the jack in cm or inches(doesn't matter, pick one). BTW im like 5' 5" so i wanted to check if they are long enough.:apple:
TIA!!

Approx 105cm from left headphone to jack and 138cm right headphone to jack. I'm 6' 2" and they're fine for me, leaving me excess cable and I have a long body :).

just wondering, but are the senns longer than the ipod headphones that came with the ipod? wow! thats long! a meter long cable! r u sure u didn't mean mm?
EDIT: nvm, i chekced and saw that 100 mm would be too small

I'm not sure if they're longer, haven't bothered unpacking my iPod headphones, still in the touch 2G box. I'd tell you the exact measurements of the cable but I've misplaced the box, but a metre is about right.

k then!
so are there any better headphones than the cx300 for the same price?another question is where did u guys (or gals) get them? and for what price approx.?

If you don't mind spending a bit more, I strongly recommend the Shure SE110s for about $100. They are great little ear buds, and while I elected to purchase the SE210s, I found that they are great sounding headphones. If you like your music full of bass, however, I would advise you to steer clear of these. They are very balanced, but not too heavy on the low end. They have much less bass than the Bose Tri-Port IEs (Do not recommend they break easily and are very fragile)

The 210s are also very durable, so you don't have to worry too much if you don't use the case, and I am sure the 110s are very similar in build quality. Also, since you were worried about cable length, they can be expanded, and have a 3 foot cord standard, plus about 18 inches to each headphone. You can buy 9 inch or 3 foot extensions as well.

hmm, well, im 15 and my budget doesn't rly allow me to get 100 dollar headphones;) but i think ill go with the cx300. it fits my budget and it won't hurt the wallet as much if i lose it. i plan to get the cx300 as my friends at school have the newer ipods with the new revised ipod headphones and they are very fragile so im gonna be getting other headphones. thanks for the recc. though. maybe another day when i have more cash to burn. dad said that like 360 bucks is already burning a hole in his pocket.lol. :D with the ipod touch costing 300 bucks and the protection stuff(case, screen protector..) costing an extra 40 bucks, so i plan to get the better headphones after a few weeks after xmas so i can save up some cash.(don't have a job:D)
