Sennheiser IE80 or Bowers&Wilkins C5?

Hey, as title says, I am looking for some great IEM.

But I cannot decide which one to pick. I have great experience with B&W MM-1s, but none with Sennheiser yet.

Can you help me out?
Opinion, advices etc.

Apples and oranges. I wouldn't even put c5 in the IEM category. I'd be comparing IE80 to maybe some shures, westones or something else in the $400+ range.

That said I have a pair of c5 and think they're great. Those high end IEMs may be second to none in the sound department, but they all lack an in-line mic and the c5 sound pretty good imo.

I found IE 80 and C5 for the exactly same price in our country o_O
 
Just reporting, that I bought those C5. And god, that sound is so rich, amazing, I previously had Bose and they are no match for these C5's.

Everything - bass, mid, highs have just right amount!

Totally recommend them!

You have to find there sweet spot and then, the sound is just amazing.
 
Thanks. That's a hell of a deal for the IE80. They go for nearly twice that out here. Glad to hear you're happy with the c5 though!
 
Upgraded my IE8 to the 80 and I do not regret it one bit. You're getting it for a steal of a price so if I were you, I would pick up the 80. You can't go wrong with these earphones. ;)
