Sennheiser PC 360 on a Macbook Pro

I have a new 15 inch Macbook pro and am looking at the Sennheiser PC 360 headset. Will this work with my computer out of the box? If not, how can I make it work? Also, to anyone who has used these headphones, does the open back form allow you to hear your own voice better than most headphones?
