Hello, new here.

I updated to High Sierra and my sent emails have disappeared but the empty folders are showing.

Also, if I send emails, they don't show up in the sent folders. I run 3 email addresses

Everything else is ok.

I hope I can find my earlier sent emails and start to add recently sent emails to the sent folders.

Please advise how I can locate the sent emails and make the sent folders capture the emails I send.

Thanks

Steve

Who is/are the email providers and when you go to the webmail portal for each account can you find the sent emails somewhere?

Thanks for your reply. The sent emails are not in the email provider's webmail system. They are sitting in my Timer Machine but will not restore to the Sent folders. Also, sent emails are being sent but still not showing in the sent folders. I've been on the Apple Help system today and no joy. Sent them a generated report and will have someone get back to me in 2 days.

Well, I've been on to Apple Support loads of times and they can't solve it. They promised their engineers would call me but never do.

Seems like High Sierra is serious trouble. Update at your own risk or if you are a tech expert.

Again, who are the email providers for the three accounts?

What are your settings for each account regarding sent items at Mail>Preferences>Accounts>Mailbox Behaviors?

Hi Brian,

I have been through all of these setting with Apple Support and nothing is wrong. For Mailbox behaviours all I have is junk to be erased after one day

I had the same problem with prior update, then after about a day they all showed up ??
However with this last update all of my saved and categorized email boxes disappeared ---??

We don’t have access to what you did with Apple over the telephone. An exchange of information would be necessary for you to receive any help here. Otherwise, your post will be considered a “rant” and not an actual request for help. Does that make sense?

Good luck!
