Sent mailbox empty in Apple Mail 13

I've had a weird issue since last few Catalina Betas — my sent mail folder is always empty (I am using Apple mail in connection with google mail). Everything else works as it should, mails are sent correctly etc. The funny thing is — when I send a mail, it does show in "Sent" but only for few minutes, after which it disappears. The sent mail folder works correctly under iOS 13 on both my iPhone and the iPad. I tried rebuilding the mailbox and removing/adding my google account multiple times, the problem still persists.

Anyone has encountered this issue and knows how to fix it? Thanks!

I'm seeing the same behavior, on multiple google mail accounts. Sent mail shows up in "All Mail", but not in the "Sent" folders (sometimes it shows there, but only briefly, exactly as you describe). Annoying, to say the least.

I don't know of a fix - I'm really just here for moral support.
