Sep 24th early delivery date

I am getting an early delivery date, why? I clicked on the /checkmyorder/ link in the email confirmation. Typing this on my phone, copied and pasted verbatim what I see (image doesn't load for me, either):

I hadn't thought of that. Though it bothers me because I planned to take off from work on the 25th to wait out for the delivery. I still have to work the 24th and can't guarantee I'll be home xD

Isn't the 25th a Friday in the USA?

The 25th is a Friday. The phones arrive on launch day, which is that Friday, and are shipped a day or two or three before that.

All you've got there is a shipping date.

Best change the thread title! :D
 
For me I get free next day so. Ships 24th, arrives 25th.

99.99% of time...no one gets before the release date of 9/25

For most, the shipping will occur far enough in advance for you to take deliver on the date mentioned. In some cases, like mine, I see the ship date cause its 1 day shipping.
 
Been through them all and you are right there have been exceptions, but Apple has honed this process so I would not expect early delivery.
