iPhone Separate camera photos from downloaded images

Just switched from Android and really miss the Gallery app, I just hate it that everything i download as an image on my iphone, goes to the Camera roll and so downloaded images get mixed in with my camera taken photos.

Is there an automated process or another app that can do this for me?

No, but some 3rd party web browsers (e.g. iCab Mobile) have their own web storage for downloads. You can then share what you want from it to another app of your choosing. E.g., move an image into the Camera Roll.

Try out some recipes with IFTTT (their main app is now called IF). I remember there being some recipes that could automatically take photos that were taken with the front camera and put those in an album, so there might be a recipe that takes photos that were taken with front or rear camera and put those in an album.
