I did not order AppleCare along with my order today and the full charge showed up on my card moments later with 9/19 delivery. I then ordered my wife's iphone 6 plus and added AppleCare. She received a 10/1 - 10/6 delivery date. I see a charge for $106.92 on my card but not for the phone. The only thing I can think of is they charged me for her Apple care but not the phone yet. Is that normal?
