I believe you can create contact groups. Create one as Corporate and the other as Personal.

Should solve your problem.

right, but when i compose an email, i only want corporates to be available to choose who i want to send an email to. so because it's an exchange account, all exchange email addresses will be available which is great, but i do not want any personal contacts to pop in that list unless i specify them. i really don't even need to setup corp vs personal groups since all corp email addresses are available when composing an email.

well there is no way to block email addresses from mail, and no way to have seperate contact lists
