I am sharing my ipad 2 with my 5 year old.. .I am using business emails also... just dont want my son to touch my email when he is using it...

does ipad 2 offers 2 different login id, so when he logins in, he cannot access my emails??

nope, no seperate logins. If you've used the iPad you know that when you turn it on, it's on, there's no login.
 
It would be grand if iOS allowed separate logins (users) from the lock screen, with individual springboard.

Alas no though.

You would need a user system like (Mac) OSX with and Admin account too, though for it to work properly.

(I think that the iPad was envisaged as a personal device more that a family device, though my so loves it, but being 6 I’m not buying him his own iPad quite yet.)

Not sure if the devices would been more RAM

Perhaps iOS6 and iPad 4 it will be possible?
 
You must have one smart five year old if he/she knows how to log into your business e-mail! :p
