I have two mirrored G Raid Drives, and I'd like to separate them so that I can keep one, and send the other two a client. Is this possible? If so, how would I do this?

Thanks.

Use Disk Utility to erase/format them separately.

This will likely not work unless the client is using the same G Raid device. Most hardware raid places a signature on the drives that only the same brand will recognize. It's very unlikely brand X raid will read drives mirrored with brand Y. The large exception to this is if the raid was done purely in software, but I don't believe that to be the case here.

You're best option: Buy or have the client buy an inexpensive USB external drive and copy the data over to that. I just bought a 1TB external for less than $150 a couple weeks ago. They are very reasonably priced.

Good luck -
