I have a downloaded piece of music that I really like, but dialogue has been shamelessly added to it. Do you know if there is a way to separate the vocal track from the audio track in itunes so i can mute out the needless talking?

Please search the Forums, particularly the Digital Audio forum, where we have covered this in detail.

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is maybe, with application of audio editing software and patience. Depending on the source material, it could be anywhere from awful to barely adequate.

It's like buying a sausage, and expecting to turn the pieces back into a pork chop.
