Seperate Libraries in iTunes..

I have a Shuffle, will be getting a bigger iPod in the future and also have a large drive of music.

I want a library for listening, one for my shuffle and another for a bigger iPod in the future.

Also, how does the shuffle work with iTunes? Does it just fit what it can on?

You can run with two separate libraries by starting iTunes whilst holding OPTION. However, it's probably easier to sync using playlists and smart playlists to sort your music. That means you don't have to double ups and it'll be easier to maintain.
