Beatles songs coming to iTunes... all of them.

I'd say no big deal... but, the audience will roar as usual.

Yeah, sure looks like no GPS at this point. :(

Maybe one of the TomTom attachments will suffice.

20 years ago a Beatles announcement might have been big, but now, in 2009? I think most people who are fans have long ago picked up their albums. I'm not sure how big a market there will be for their music, especially with the younger crowd.

I agree mostly. I believe younger people appreciate them but nowadays if you wanted them on your iPod you would have already figured out how to get them there. What will iTunes do? Offer exclusive new tracks? ;)

Is it possible the new TomTom Car Kit will work with a iPod Touch?

TomTom has the new iPhone car kit but it only works for the iPhone. The question comes to mind, why do you need 2 GPS devices for one app? But I guess TomTom wants you to use their GPS system. Right?

I suppose if you have a iPod Touch you can use the TomTom Car Kit because you are essentially using the TomTom GPS that's built into the TomTom Car kit right? I don't see why TomTom wouldn't allow you to use the iPod Touch on the car kit. It would be amazing if they didn't do this because they could make more money if they expanded their product to iPod Touch users.

9/9/09 is rumored to be "The Devils Day", just like 6/6/06 was 666

also, their are supposed to be quite a bit of *chan raids happening 9/9/09, as well as a movie or two coming out.

It's rumored that it will be extended to the iPod touch. But as for the iPhone, its internal GPS is not that accurate, only like to 100ft or so. The TomTom is accurate to within 20.

All of the albums are remastered and reportedly sound better than ever, FWIW

Except that 666 isn't the Number of the Beast. It's 616.

Sorry, QI geek in me coming out!

I wonder why Apple included a lyric from a Rolling Stones song on the promotional posters? Misdirection? Or maybe the Beatles won’t be on iTunes after all?

9/9/09 is a unique day. Something unique should happen then.

I have a niece who was born 8/8/80. She turned 8 on 8/8/88. Guess what her lucky number is. ;)
