Sept Delivery Tracking.

Setting up this thread so September orders can be tracked for those move to 'preparing to ship' status.

Here are some notes to help track orders:

Apple will automatically add your phone with it's serial number in your support profile. You can see it here:

You can look up the week of manufacture and factory here: http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html or

Mine is still sitting in the warehouse in China. Apple shows "Preparing for Shipping"

Does UPS reference look-up by phone # work with orders through Sprint? Tried and getting nothing. No update from Sprint yet, but still quoted for 9/16.

No. Only orders direct through Apple since UPS handles their fulfillment (which means UPS receives Apple order information shortly after you receive your initial order confirmation email). The carriers handle their own fulfillment. Your order information will move from Sprint to one of the delivery companies when they have your phone physically in their inventory at wherever Sprints warehouse is. Once UPS ships inventory to Sprint, they will begin assigning tracking numbers with the delivery company.

I'm not seeing any information on either two sites when I enter the serial number from my Support Profile

mine made it to Louisville last night.
 
Mine is in KY, it should be in GA the destination state tomorrow... I'm going to pull it off the truck once it gets to the final destination state and go pick it up Friday morning.

Samsung hijacked my flight .:eek:

On a side note I actually located the flight because of this. It's in to Alaska next. :)
