Sound better than the October rumor that is starting up. I'm tired of being patient.
 
Not saying you're wrong, but my official guess is September 7. Why? The iTunes music event has been on the first Wednesday of September for years now with one exception only I believe. I don't see them further delaying a product and profit, even for Jobs.

Released on September 7, and goes on sale two weeks later, much like past iPhone releases. This also aligns with AT&T's blackout memo of mid September through at least mid October.
