Are all the bugs worked out of Sequoia? I'm still using Sonoma and it works fine.

I was wondering what additional perks I'd get from Sequoia.

Yeah, Sonoma was fine. I can't remember when I jumped to Sequoia. Pretty early, I think, because folks weren't reporting many issues. It's been solid for me since the beginning, but I don't have any legacy hardware or other funky stuff, so that's to be expected. No idea about the new stuff it delivered. It's really not much different, as I recall.

To be clear, I'm not a bleeding-edge player. I'll be leaving Tahoe for a good six months or so. Seems like a visual mess to me, and will hopefully be sorted by then.

Not ready to get to Tahoe yet but maybe it’s time to upgrade to Sequoia from Sonoma
Or is it better to still stay in Sonoma?
How is Apple Mail? And Music?

Is this when Time Machine doesn’t do a backup when the monitor is a sleep ?
I get that everyday
Backup only starts when the monitor is on and I’m logged in
I leave my laptop connected to the charger and back up over wi-fi. When I open it again, I find out that ‘the backup drive was not ejected properly’. The only improvement since I first installed Sequoia is that I used to have ~20 of those notifications, now there’s only one. Yay?
