after 5 weeks and many installs reinstalls practice youtube vids etc research etc. still siri is not right- wont respond to voice very well ...very well means never gets it right..I know it takes a while to pickup my accent etc..but this is just unworkable...damned if I want to text everything in to it --as it is, it is unusable----anyone have a magic process that I can do that will get it up and running or as I suspect it simply is a pos to get rolling.???--

I have put more time and effort in to it then I should have and it pisses me off frankly-- it is not all operator problem..iphone 6 s plus 11.4--Thanks

If you have a strong accent then chances of Siri working properly is pretty slim.

Voice recognition technology in general is still not there. There’s no magic beans anywhere. It either works or it doesn’t.

midwest normal ..some southern influence I suppose but for sure u.s. thanks maybe more practice with it-- I get annoyed and stop...it is really annoying --thanks

Hmmm that accent shouldn't be much of a problem. I have somewhat of an accent myself (a hybrid between Canadian and general American accent) and Siri works fine for me... Ive seen full on Billy Bob southern accents work fine as well. Now Scottish, Indian, and Asian accents are another story.
