iPhone 6(S)/Plus seri ...settings issue...old guy newbie

for Iphone 6 s plus 11.4 ios...I have been jerking around off and on for three weeks...ran through the set up closed restarted all of the stuff...Imac and mbp user ..seri is just fine on them...cannot for the life of me to get "hey seri" to work has to be a settings issue- but if you look it up, depends what phone, what version, etc, if on thursday, shoes are on the correct feet, and have you looked at any dirty pictures today...

did that of course on off restart etc ...nope

You should be plugged in to charger for "Hey Siri" to work hands free.

That’s only for iPhone 6 and earlier. OP states they have a 6s.

did that and is working now ..but had done it several time previous no luck...anyway good now apparently- also the
[doublepost=1528800620][/doublepost]Thanks, --seems ok now not fully tested but as usual magic or a beam in the stratasphere layer did it
