Lately, I have been using the Keyspan USA-19HS adapter for home automation purpose with the Indigo app from Perceptive Automation.

After migrating to Big Sur (11.6), I needed to install a new driver. I get an error message just trying to launch the driver installer. Tripp Lite says that's a known problem and that they cannot help me. To my experience, the reliability of the Keyspan device support over time (i.e over OS upgrades) is flakky.

Does anybody have any suggestions or comments for a serial adapter that would be suitable for my purposes and compatible with Big Sur ?

I have found USB to RS232 adapters in general can be pretty hit or miss. Some brands/models will work fine with a particular computer but won't work on others, and vice-versa- probably due to the different chipsets in the adapters. Can't remember the brand, but I had a hideous blue one with lights that worked on anything. Suggest buying and trying a couple different models from different brands.
