Hi guys,

After seeing the keynote yesterday, I'd like to get an Apple watch.

Now in my hometown there's an official Apple reseller who has discounts on the first Apple watch gen. Instead of paying 1200€ for the stainless steel, it's at a 50% discount which is huge. I'd just get an extra white sportband whenever I go to the gym.

Isn't this worth it ? Considering the fact that the features of the series 2 aren't really that benificial for me ?

Thanks!

If the Series 2 features is not a benefit to you, then by all means I would take a advantage of the first generation Apple Watch. Mainly because it's going to be supported the watchOS 4 and it's good for at least another year. It's still very functional and the stainless model is my preference, alongside with the sapphire display.

Thanks! Took the opportunity while I was in lunch break and went for it. They even had airpods in stock!
