Ive had serious Podcast and Music hours from Series 1 AirPods via Re Chargeable Case.
Only let down is rare intermittent Bluetooth Disconnections.

Is it possible to expect more Stable calls and less drops if I choose new AirPods.
I see there's v2 or Pro.Max etc.

What's the sensible upgrade option, p.s.I have quite Small Ears if that's to be considered, i.e. V1 Fit Perfect.

thanks

I just went down this same path. My series 1 would no longer charge so I needed something new. I tried the Max in store and they are very impressive. But they are also expensive, heavier, and not water or sweat resistant. The Max can be a bit of a pain to transport when you're not using them also. In the end I went with the AirPod Pro 2. They are fantastic. Light weight, just like the ones you have now, but they fit better. The sound quality is improved vastly... almost as good as the Max i'd say. The spatial audio is great and the noise cancellation & transparency modes are really nice. Plus I can just tuck them in a pocket when not in use. The Pro's also now come with an extra small ear tip if thats an issue for you.
