Yeah visually it's a huge difference. The screen is as big as the Ultra's now.Speed? No. Look and feel? Yes.

I'm with you, don't think that's an upgrade that would make sense at all, and not really a fan of how the bezels looks larger in the S10.Does not seem like much of a difference between the series 9 and 10 and with my model being at 96% life remaining after 11 months I plan to save money. The 10 has the S10 chip but is there much difference in speed for normal use?

I‘ve upgraded from the AW Series 9 to the AW Series 10, when it came out.Does not seem like much of a difference between the series 9 and 10 and with my model being at 96% life remaining after 11 months I plan to save money. When it comes to CPU and GPU performance, the S9 and S10 are absolutely identical because they are literally the same chip. Both based off of the A15 with a tiny little NPU.Does not seem like much of a difference between the series 9 and 10 and with my model being at 96% life remaining after 11 months I plan to save money. I find it unbelievable that they still have the modular ultra face locked to the ultra when the s10 has the same sized screen AND a better CPU. I thought the S10 was when I would finally get the face, or at least a variation of it.No - not really. Especially given the fact that you don't get more complicated watch faces like the Ultra Modular
Some decision are technical, others are driven by marketing strategy. When the Nike version of the Apple watch was sold as a separate model, you couldn't get the Nike faces on a regular Apple watch even though the hardware was identical. Now you can.I find it unbelievable that they still have the modular ultra face locked to the ultra when the s10 has the same sized screen AND a better CPU. The hermes faces are locked as well, I think some are nice. I had an Ultra and sold it, but I almost always used the modular ultra face. I tried an aluminum S10 and felt the same as you. However, the S10 was so blasted light in contrast to the weight of AWU, it was a nice change of pace.I find it unbelievable that they still have the modular ultra face locked to the ultra when the s10 has the same sized screen AND a better CPU. Compared to any watch Apple has EVER createdCompared to the series 9?
Right. I meant I can't believe that they would make that decision for that watch face. Having the digital time front and center with some complications around it isn't exactly cutting edge. That would be standard on any other watch. Saying that you have to buy the most expensive model (that is also much much larger in size) to get that is so bizarre. Some decision are technical, others are driven by marketing strategy.
