Series 2 vs Series 3

Hi I have a Orignal Series Zero watch that I Pre-ordered on day 1 and have had it for 2 years 4 months its a 42mm Stain steel with Milanese Loop Band. I am now looking to upgrade, I am looking at a 42mm Stain steel watch with sport band. Would I be better off to get a Series 2 at a discount or a Series 3 ? LTE is not important to me I will never use LTE. Thanks for your help in advance, I just can't tell the difference between the 2 and if the Series 3 is worth the extra cost since B&H is selling the Series 2 for 499 & a series 3 is 650. I can wait till October if there will be deals on the Series 3 model I am looking at but at current prices the Series 2 looks good to me.
