I have a series 1 and it is fairly slow. Is it worth $129 to upgrade to series 3? I use daily and really depend on the watch but don’t want to invest in something that is already slow or will be slow in the next year or so.

The Series 3 has the dual core processor, which is a significant upgrade over your Series one. However, there’s no really telling if it will be ‘slow ‘in the next year or so. I personally wouldn’t emphasize too much time thinking about the progression in the future, but in terms of what it offers over your Series one with a brighter display, 50 m water resistance, ect, I think it’s a notable upgrade.

Yeah, I’m currently debating between this BF deal and the current deal from Best Buy on the Series 4 for $399 ($379 after 5% discount via Chase Freedom).

Is the 44mm Stainless Steel Series 4 w/ LTE worth an extra $250 over the 38mm Aluminum Series 3 w/ no LTE For $129? Hmmmm decisions decisions... 🤔

Depends on your money situation. If you have the extra money I think it is 100% worth it. Series 3 is still a very good watch though, especially at that price.

I finally updated my series 1 to 6.1 (from latest 5.x) and it’s like a whole new watch. Like super fast with practically no lag. Looks like I won't be upgrading. Very pleased Apple took the time to optimize 6 for my series 1.

Walmart employees can get 25% off this watch... just found this out in our meeting yesterday. If I didn’t have my 42mm Series 3 right now, I would jump on that immediately. The 42mm is slightly higher in price but still an insane deal. Also, a great deal on a 6s but it’s limited to tracfone companies. :/ but great with my 25% discount.

Gotta fight through the WM crowd though. Unless they put it for sale online which would probably sell out in minutes.

worth it. I had an s3 and watch s3 made it faster and more useable. My car apps actually works and so does the home app. Before watch os5 was painfully slow.

Yes, I would upgrade. For $129 it would be night and day vs your Series 1.
