Hi,

I just got my watch a few days ago. I have gone swimming with it a couple of times. I set the distance to 25 yards.(length of my pool) It measures the distance well, but it doubles the number of laps. So I swam 45 laps the last time in the pool. It said I swam 2250 yards which is correct. But it said I swam 90 laps.

A lap is 2 lengths, what could I have configured wrong. The first time it also doubled the number of laps but had the total yards correct.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's nothing wrong, it's working the same as mine. Apple just calls a length a lap.

Mine is working the same as yours. I did 800 M yesterday, or 16 laps in a 25 M pool. My watch said I swam 800M and 32 laps.

It's all good. Enjoy your new watch!
