My Apple Watch Series 4 fell off my dresser today and cracked the entire back. The screen and case are fine but the back is pretty rough. I can still wear it but I'm worried the heart rate tracking will be messed up. I just purchased AppleCare+ for it but I'm wondering if I should get it fixed now or just wait? Anyone got any thoughts? Much appreciated.

Take your pulse and compare it to heart rate monitor.

I would be more concerned with the broken back cutting you or exposing watch interior to moisture

Here you go!

im guessing it should be fine since the cracks not near the edge, but i'd def get it fixed. the chances of u needing another fix is slim to none so dont worry about that.... unless ur a klutz. i never buy apple care unless it's a laptop.

Yeah I'm debating between now or later because this was a freak accident. Just sucks because I just paid $460 for the watch and now I'm shelling out $160 for AppleCare and a replacement.
