Noticed withing the last couple days always on display stopped working. Activate on raised wrist isn't working either. I now need to tap my watch face to activate the screen.

Was there an update that changed the defaults?

Ideally I want AOD with brightness turned up when I raise my wrist. What setting do I check for that?

I have wake screen on wrist raise, and the next two turned on. I changed the last "always" on, it wasn't checked but not sure if it needs to be.

Thanks

you've power cycled the watch?
(have you tired turning it off and back on again)

If the "last always" is on the wake screen settings,
that's one of the options for "show last app"
all that does is if you have an app open, and the screen goes to sleep, it keeps that app in "standby" so that if you wake the screen that app will re-appear. Otherwise the clock shows.
The setting lets you pick how long that app stays selected, so by picking always, if you have an app open, it will always show the next time you wake the screen. even if you haven't looked at it in hours.

if the power cycle doesn't help, you can try an unpair and re-pair, That normally clears up most problems with the watch.

---edit---
Pug sent their response while I was typing,
that's a good point.
is there an orange comedy/tragedy masks at the top of your screen?
if so, slide up from the bottom, and tap the orange button with the same masks

I did have the mask icon, not sure how it was selected but not intended. Didn't even know what it was and since you have to scroll down, not sure I've even ever seen it.

Thank you.
